So while I'm not sure what to talk about here, I figure the best way to get to know me is just to talk about my hobbies and interests :D
Hi, I'm a 20 something woman who is trying her best at adulting. I absolutely love writing and can't see myself doing anything else but creating stories for people to read and enjoy (or not that's fine too). I like to say I've been writing seriously since I was 8 years old and I do have a vivid memory about being in kindergarden and being stopped by my teacher when we were doing a writing exercie because I was writing too muuch. Ever since then, I've enjoyed a plethora of media and written stories with the ideas and imagry I liked growing up. So here we are now.
I like play video games in general and like to play every type of game if I can. My perference is for adventure games or RPGs/JRPGs
My favorite series of all time is The Legend of Zelda and I have play almost all the games mutiple times (The exceptions are ones I was too young to play when they came out or ones with required co-op cries in loner
My favorite Link is Toon Link (From Wind Waker specifcally) and my favorite game is Wind Waker as it was my first introduction to "chanllenging gaminging"
Some of my other favorite games are the Ace Attorney series, Pokemon, Devil May Cry, and Tekken.
My favorite Pokemon is Blaziken because me and him went through my first Pokemon together having the worst typing for the region, but we pervailed and now he's my all time favorite. I love him so much that when the DP remakes were announced, I was determined to get a shiny to put in my team. Here he is~
And I even drew a human form of him when I was in High School
Ace Attorney was my introduction was to True Crime and now I'm someone who loves all things true crime. I actually first place it when I was twleve years old. Also around that time was when I played DmC (after getting DMC4) and a kid that age shouldn't have even knkwn a game like that existsted, but it only made me like Devil May Cry more. Lastly, my main in Tekken is Drungnov even though I'm trash at the game, but hey, at least I'm having fun.
I grew up watching anime and have a deep interest in Japan (I'm even self teaching myself Japanese)
My favorite anime is One Piece and yes, I have watched the whole series and am keeping up with the manga.
Some other favorites of mine are (in order of when I watched them) Slayers, Jujou Romantica, Tiger & Bunny, Haikyuu!!, and HunterxHunter.
I have some characters who defined intergral parts of my personality and are frequently the base of my characters. They are Lina Inverse from Slayers, Aizen from Bleach, Dark Pit from Kid Icrus, Tsukishima from Haikyuu!!, Leviathan from Obey Me and Van Zeiks from Ace Attorney (TGAA) (yes, there's only one female, but I can admit that's because I'm a simp).
I'm self-teaching myself to draw and love to self-teach or learn new skills
Don't know if that was a good about me section, but my life is pretty much confined to the media I consumed and I don't consider my life very interesting. I still have to thank you if you did read this *bowing man*
So, I happen to have a lot of aspirations for myself regardless if they'll ever happen or not. Some of these are from my rose-tinted childhood and being unaware of how the real world is, but hey, you gotta dream big. Others are more realestic and are actual goals of mine.
I've always wanted to make a video game either based on my stories or just something I wrote. Personally, I just wanna make a game that caters more towards women the same way Cammy is butt naked in Street Fighter. Come on, people who like men don't get shit.
Along that line, I also dreamed of having an animated series and a manga behind one of my stories; and yes, I do daydream about which stories of mine would be manga and which would be better as an anime.
I don't want a fanbase in the way famous people typically have them. I want an audience I can share my ideas and stoeis with and just talk abbout the dumb shit that pops in my head from time to time. very recently, I thought of having "writing streams" since I tend to talk while I write. I just thought it'd be fun to ask the audience about ideas I should or shouldn't waste time on.
And my biggest goal of all, is to have one of my books win a Putlizer Prize. When I was a kid, I remember seeing books with the gold or silver stamp on them and being confused as to what that was. Then we were taught what it was and I read a book with the stamp on it and remember thinking "I wanna write something this good one day" ever since then, I've been writing with the slight hope that my books can be good enough to win one.
